We have seen some 'out-of-this-world' things before when it comes to people searching for love, but this has got to be the most outrageous. Although this is also an act that can be considered bold, daring, confident, creative, open-minded, and humourous.

A bachelor is using billboards in London and Birmingham to search for his future bride...

"Muhammad Malik, 29, is alerting prospective partners to his availability with tongue-and-cheek messages in his quest for a wife. They read: 'Save me from an arranged marriage.'." (BBC)

He is not against arranged marriage, but says that he would prefer to find a partner on his own. He shared that since he put up the ads on Saturday, he has received hundreds of messages expressing their interest.

He admitted to trying out dating apps and dating events, but these left him feeling "awkward". So after a friend of his suggested he advertise himself, he thought what better way than with a billboard?!

"The billboards, set to remain up until 14 January, have the backing of family, with his parents "down from the beginning", although he confessed: "I had to convince my mum a bit-." Mr Malik said his ideal partner would share his Muslim faith and be able to "keep up with the bants" with his family." (BBC)

The only thing we can say is, we wish him all the best...

What an amazing story to tell his children one day.
