We love taking a look back at the week, it doesn't just remind us about the cool stories we get to read, but also allows us to end of the week on a high...

On that note, we checked in with the CEO of and Co-Founder of the Cheeba Cannabis Academy, which is a higher education facility that teaches students how to grow and harvest cannabis. 

He spoke about changing the mindset of people when it comes to thinking about cannabis and all the limiting beliefs that come with it. Vic Naidoo got to chat with him for a bit on-air, listen to it below:

Then we heard about a story that involved a photographer who agreed to help out her friends at their wedding with the photography. What started out as a favour threatened their friendship when she was refused a break and then things went south from there...

She did something impulsive out of anger and then posted her story on Reddit to ask people if she was wrong in what she did. Many people took her side and for good reason, too...

We didn't actually think that hostage situations extended to animals but we guess they do. We heard about a story where a monkey held a two-week-old puppy hostage for three days. 

The good news is that the community rallied together and managed to get the puppy back, but we think that there was a deeper story happening with the monkey...

Then there was this smuggling story. Two men were caught chicken handed as they attempted to smuggle KFC past the Auckland border. And here we thought that people only looked to smuggle chocolates into the movies...
