We had an email request from Cheryl to tell us about The Golden Hours Family Market.

The market is run by Lyn Wilson, who is employed by Golden Hours Special Needs School, and any funds raised from the market go toward the running of the school.

The market boasts about 70 stalls and in the middle of the market is a lovely tea garden with live music every Sunday by various artists, including Belinda Dolphin, Lorraine McVean, and Jaz Vaugh.

The market is in desperate need of a makeover and although Lyn’s nephew does work on the stalls during the week – they are literally falling apart. There is a desperate need for timber and awning covers, but funds are low and the school can’t afford to repair these broken stalls.
