Big Favour: Champion bodybuilder Jabulani Buthelezi's dream to study comes true
South African Bodybuilding Champion for the over 50 division, Jabulani Buthelezi, has always wanted to study and become a personal trainer. The Big Favour and MAHLE have made his dream come true!

Jabulani Buthelezi has been working at MAHLE for seven years. He is also the current South African Bodybuilding Champion for the over 50 division and will be competing in the World Champs in Romania this week.
When you meet Jabulani, the first thing you'll notice about him is how humble and well respected he is in the fitness community in KZN. He lives in Claremont and has had to fundraise for himself, even though whenever he competes internationally he always places in the top three!

Despite the incredible results he achieves, he's never received any formal recognition. Jabulani has a dream and that is to complete his Personal Trainer Qualification - but he doesn't have the funding.
Part of his vision is to set up a gym for the youth in the Claremont area, and in this way he can give back to his community and motivate the youth.
Jolene Van Heerden, the Communications Manager at MAHLE, decided that she wanted to help Jabulani and arranged a full bursary through ETA (Exercise Teachers Academy) for him to study part time next year.
This includes the cost of all of his books! Well done, Jolene, and good luck, Jabulani!
