Have you ever called into work 'sick' when what you really did was have a heavy night?

You call in pretending it was the takeaway fish you had that's given you the worst food poisoning in the world. I'm sure that a few of you can relate to this?

However, for some lucky employees in the UK, their company is allowing them to take a day off when suffering from a hangover! Yes, you read right. According to Business Insider, UK-based music ticketing company Dice allows their employees to take a 'hangover day' for free after they've attended a gig the night before.

What's cool is that they don't need to make excuses. All they need to do is send a sick or beer emoji via WhatsApp to their boss.

It is said that the average worker takes four days off sick a year, but Dice is trying to encourage transparency and honesty for employees so staff will no longer have to fake a sickness, but rather be honest with them about their late nights out.
