Heroic mom risks life to protect daughter from rapists
When this South African mom saw what was happening to her daughter, she knew she had to do everything in her power to protect her.

A disturbing story has been doing the rounds and popped up on my newsfeed this weekend. It is about an heroic mom who did everything in her power to save her daughter.
According to DispatchLIVE, a South African woman from the Eastern Cape allegedly stabbed a man to death and wounded two others after she found them gang-raping her 27-year-old daughter. She was arrested for her actions but has since been released on bail.

The mother was apparently at her home when she was called by her daughter’s friend, who alerted her that her daughter was being gang-raped by men who had knives in their possession.
The mom tried to call the police but could not report the matter as the phone was not answered, so she decided to take matters into her own hands when she walked in and saw three naked men attempting to have their way with her daughter in a vacant house.

It seems that the mom moved into 'fight' response when she saw what was happening. She grabbed a knife in an attempt to protect her daughter from these men.
After being released, she is now expected to appear in court on the 8th of October.
It really got me thinking, though - any mother in a similar situation would have done the same thing if they witnessed this happening to their child, right?
