Halloween is fast becoming a popular festive holiday in South Africa. Unlike our American friends who go all out, many just use it as an excuse to throw a big party, dress up, and have fun. Nothing wrong with that, right?

So many of my friends who are into the 'holiday' are rejoicing as Halloween is just around the corner. But nevermind all the ghosts and creepy spiderwebs with candlelit pumpkins, some are worried about their significant others starting an affair.

According to Daily Star, new research has revealed that 66% of women think the haunting holiday is a sexy event and dressing up for the occasion gets them 'revved' up. Those people who are sexually charged take it to another level and it becomes an evening of intrigue, mystery, and fantasy, generating a more adult version of trick or treat.

It is also said that the last Friday before Christmas also gives wondering-eyed partners the perfect excuse for an extra-marital night of passion as it’s the most popular evening for office Christmas parties or festive drinks with friends.

Of the 1,000 people interviewed, 76% of them said that they’d be unfaithful that week. What do you think - is it all nonsense or could this research actually be true?
