So the big question, in this case, is: why? Why is it that women are happier to be single? Well, according to Huffington Post, a new study in the UK has revealed that 61% of women are happy being single while only 49% of men feel this way. The main reason is that they feel that relationships are simply hard work. And here many of us were thinking that the reason would be complex?

Maybe one partner in the relationship is investing more emotional energy than the other, one isn't pulling their weight around the house, or maybe they just don't see eye-to-eye on the most basic issues. Either way, single women just feel that the work in a relationship is too much for them to handle at times.
