Five things that irritate the life out of Damon Beard

I'm a pretty easy-going and super chilled type of guy. But like every other human being, there are things that I absolutely cannot stand and that annoy the life out of me.

My producer, Simon, and I were busy prepping for our show on Wednesday morning and he asked me to name five of my absolute pet hates. I had them already lined up in my head and started rambling them off. Simon actually had to ask me to limit them because the list kept getting longer the more I went on.

Well, here they are - the five things (in no particular order) that just instantly make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

• When you're buying groceries and the teller happily adds on for extra carry bags. The teller rings up for five bags but you could fit everything into two!

• When you're sitting in traffic and it's bumper to bumper, or there's an accident up ahead, but you get those cars or taxis who must drive past you to jump the queue by driving in the emergency lane. I remember that East Coast Drive chatted about this a few weeks back and I so wanted to call in to share my thoughts. But I held back.

• People who have no idea what personal space is. 

• Bad service. There is no excuse for it - especially in this day and age.

• Cruelty to animals. I absolutely lose my cool when I come across any articles or videos that depict violence towards animals.
  

On the note of annoying things, this hilarious video had me in stitches when I saw it. Many people accuse me of doing number four when I'm on-air, but I promise you that it isn't intentional. Ha!
