A video has gone viral that shows a bizarre optical illusion in action. It shows a man's head appearing to be completely separated from his body while he swims in a pool. You need to see this!
Micah Wallace (@themicahwallace) shared the video, leaving everyone baffled. It has more than 7.5-million views.
He was in Barbados with his wife, Sarah, celebrating their honeymoon with a stay at a swanky hotel. He then decided to take a dip in the pool, because "Honey Moon Vibes".
During their chill session, the couple realised the strange - and hilarious - optical illusion, which left Sarah in stitches as she recorded.
While Sarah filmed, Micah played around in the water, his head seemingly detached from his body as it bobbed on top of the water. The rest of his body was visible thanks to the see-through panels of the pool. As weird as it is, the body appeared to be walking around a few feet away from Micah's head, creating a hilarious sight for Sarah.

We were on our honeymoon at the Sandals Royal Barbados Resort, it was amazing. My wife saw my head was completely separate from my body and thought it was hilarious, so then she started filming and I started performing.
Now the actual reason why this looks so real is because the illusion is created by a scientific incident known as refraction, which is the bending of light, due to the curve of the swimming pool.
Micah obviously couldn't believe the reaction the video had, with millions of social media users viewing it.
He said:
When I saw it for the first time, I couldn't believe how I looked but I had no idea people were going to respond as much as they have. Most people are confused and the other half are people educating others about the science behind refraction
