In our listeners opinion, these are the top Indian restaurants to eat curry in Durban..
Much debate began in the studio when we were chatting about the best place to have curry in Durban. It was mutually agreed that there are so many places that tantalise our tastebuds.
Here are some of our teams favourites below:
1. Palki - Berea
Known as Durban's number 1 Indian restaurant is Palki, their delicious Indian cuisine is simply to die for! Stacey Norman will be visited this spot in Windemere this weekend. See this delicious food below...

Coming in hot at number 2 we have:
2.Panaji's - Durban North
Situated in the heart of Durban North on Adelaide Tambo Drive, is this authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. Specialising in various types of curries, this restaurant is also known for it's on-the-go meals with their roti rolls as well as being found on Uber Eats, Mr Delivery and takeaway apps.
During the #KZNFloods this restaurant reached out to the community supplying search and rescue heroes based out of Virginia Airport with a warm meal on a cold day as they continued their incredible work of searching for missing flood victims.

3. Mali's- Morningside
Situated in Morningside, Durban is this small but fire-y Indian restaurant. This spot is all the rave if you ask a true local about a go-to spot to fill that craving.
Their passion for food is easily proven with it's wide menu and tasty treats. Make sure to pop in if you're in the area
4. Thava- Suncoast and Ballito
This mouth-watering cuisine has blessed Durban with two locations "on both ends of the world". We can enjoy this food at Suncoast Durban or in Ballito. For the last 4 consecutive years Thava won the American Express Platinum Fine Dining Award and listeners rave about how tasty this food is.

This small spot brings the saying "dynamite comes in small packages" to life. A must for anyone passing through Durban North and is feeling for a casual Indian curry. If you're not in the mood to step out for it, they deliver. How convenient!
