Morgan is in his feelings!

The "Songbird Supreme" hitmaker's sibling Morgan is taking things to the next level by taking legal action against his sister for defamation and the intentional infliction of emotional distress as a result of her 2020 autobiography, 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey'.

He is claiming "malicious falsehoods". Maybe Mariah should have kept some things to herself?

Documents that have been obtained by Variety state:

The lawsuit includes some of the passages from the book which Morgan alleged are untrue.

It gets worse... he has also claimed that, as a result of the publication of the memoir, he has:

In the book, Mariah went as deep as recalling the vicious fight between him and their father, and him being institutionalised when he was younger, which Morgan objected to.

Mariah said she "never felt safe" around her "troubled brother" because of his "unpredictable" rage.

In the suit's argument, apparently the damage allegedly caused by the 'Fantasy' singer was intentional, citing a pre-publication interview she did with Oprah Winfrey.

It stated:

But rumour has it that Morgan is not seeking a specific sum in compensation in terms of money, he is just looking to undo damages through “judicial determination”.

Which seems fair.

But Mariah is just not catching a break because his lawsuit is followed by a similar one submitted by their sister, Alison Carey, who is seeking £1.25-million for emotional distress caused by the memoir. That's some hectic family drama!
