Play Local is a show which features new and upcoming local artists of all genres.
This past weekend, Deon had the pleasure of talking to Miles Jacoby, a Durban-born musician who recently dropped a new track, called '24'.
According to his website, Jacoby first owned a guitar at just six-years-old and developed a passion for music. He took this passion and pursued a qualification in music, and went overseas.
"As part of a 2015 resolution, Miles packed his bags and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, USA to satisfy the ever lingering musical itch. Playing at venues like the Bluebird Cafe and learning true Nashville songwriter kinship was a humbling experience and only inspired more," it is written on his website.
He joined Deon this past weekend in studio to talk about being relevant in the current music space, about the SA rock scene, and even told him more about his new hit, '24', which is based on innocent crushes.
