Teyana Taylor- Kanye's new "IT" girl

The VMA's have been on everyone's lips and one of my favourite parts of the night was the reveal of Kanye's new video, "Fade", starring singer/actor Teyana Taylor.

I was a little shocked to see Tey-Tay as the star of the video, especially because I never ever thought of her as a dancer. I've seen her in Madea's Big Happy Family and her episode of "My Super Sweet Sixteen" but not once have I ever thought of her as the lead in a Kanye video.

The 25 year old, who is signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D music label, amazing body took centre stage at the awards, and Tey-Tay has revealed that she is NOT a big fan of the gym. 

"You're going to gag right now because I would really be lying to you if I told you that I worked out." she told Vogue.com

"I keep it really real, I don't like to lie and say I work out, three, four times a week. All I do is dance. All I do is dance" she continued.

And just to add salt to the wound, Tey-Tay gave birth to her daughter, June, 8 months ago.

I really really need to start working on my ab game.
