Pharrell is known for being a step ahead of the crowd and his new idea is pure genius!

The singer is a firm advocate for the environment and environmental conservation, so it's no wonder this idea was cooked up by him.

According to Times Live, the singer and producer created the song, '100 Years (The Song We’ll Only Hear If We Care)', in an exclusive partnership with Louis XIII Cognac to express their shared dedication to environmental issues.

The significance of the 100-year release date is that it has been predicted that sea levels will rise by that time, thereby risking the record, as it is made of sand and will disintegrate if contact with water is made. The aim is to encourage people to take care of the environment right now.

When I look at my children I always wonder what kind of world are we leaving for them, so I'm all for Pharrell's efforts. Plus I'm a huge fan of his music and would hate if no one ever got to hear it!
