This dad was horrified when he saw the disturbing messages on his son's game.

There is always a lot to be said about children and the time spent in front of the tv and iPad. During the week, there is very little plug in time in our home and on weekends we are a lot more relaxed, but in saying that parents need to monitor what they are watching or doing.

In saying that, don't be fooled that you can leave them on an iPad unassisted as one or two clicks and they could be on an entirely different page.

A friend of mine recently found her son ‘shopping’ online. She was horrified that he knew his way around as she had never shown him the ins and outs. Needless to say, another layer of defence has been added on.

I recently found this article which freaked me out. A horrified dad from England, Iain Morrison, took to social media to express his worry and concern after discovering that a game his eight-year-old son was playing contained disturbing messages from an online predator.

The article freaked me out as the game on the surface looks all cute and innocent, but as parents who spoke up after Iain’s post explained, a few minutes in you witness that the animation and cute exterior is all smoke and mirrors.

Take a look at the post that Iain made on his Facebook page to warn parents:

Please make sure that you are supervising and checking out the nature and content of what your kids are playing. It's sad to say, but there are sick people out there.
