South African filmmaker talks directorial debut

Nosipho Dumisa's directorial debut for 'Nommer 37' has already won her a SAFTA Award in 2016
for Best Short Film and promises to
continue making waves in the film industry; locally and internationally.

Growing up, Nosipho Dumisa wanted to be a doctor, but life took a different path, and this Durban girl based in Cape Town has now directed countless commercials, TV pilots, reality TV pilots, lifestyle shows, and short films. She's only 29 years old and has already directed two episodes of 'DanZ', featured on kykNET and Kie, and is also one of the producers of the hit kykNET soap opera, 'Suidooster'.
Then along came 'Nommer 37', which had those who viewed it in awe.
