How important is personal hygiene to you?

South Africa as a whole has been experiencing high levels of drought, and as of result, Cape Town has been facing very high water restrictions. This has lead to some cutting down on showers.
Water is one of the most important basic needs for all of mankind. Without it, we face extinction. The water restrictions in Cape Town have become a serious issue for all of the city's residents.

According to Times Live, Western Cape Premier Helen Zille has revealed that she only showers 'briefly' every third day. Personal hygiene means different things to every individual and Zille's insight into her personal hygiene has raised a few eyebrows, with people pulling faces in disgust.

However, the water restrictions are no joke and Zille is a true leader by setting an example for the rest of the province to follow.
We commend Zille for setting an example during times of desperate drought and also for bravely admitting she has allowed her personal hygiene to take a dive in order to save water.- East Coast Drive
