The thing we forget is that as cute and lovely and mushy as Valentine's Day is for those of you IN a relationship - all those tooth achingly sweet songs are a constant reminder to the rest of us as to how unattached we are. 

As much as Boney M grates your cheese during  Xmas, dedication love songs are a grinding reminder of what a failure we  (the single ones) are at relationships -or as I like to refer to them; "The abdication of purpose"

There is no fighting this day - it is here to stay. 

So I suggest you source the "Darren Maule's Top 13 Unlove Songs Vol IV" and play them on repeat until the 24 hour eew-cycle  comes to an end and the human race  returns to its usual resentment and disappointment that usually accompanies all relationships.
