Two KZN friends shot each other with the same gun
You couldn’t make this up if you tried.
If someone told you this was the plot of an action-comedy, you’d probably say it was too far-fetched.
However, according to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), this bizarre sequence of events allegedly unfolded in Ottawa, KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday night.

The incident reportedly began with two friends arguing over a woman.
The disagreement escalated when one of the men allegedly confronted the other at a traffic light on the R102 and Tottenham Road.
RUSA says the driver of a white Suzuki S-Presso was allegedly shot in the chest during the confrontation. However, the story didn’t end there.
According to the injured man, he managed to wrestle the firearm away from his alleged attacker and used the very same gun to shoot him before driving to a nearby service station in Waterloo to seek help.
While officers were assisting the first man, they received reports that the second man had also been taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.

RUSA said it could not independently confirm his injuries at the time.
It’s one of those stories that leaves you blinking twice.
What started as an alleged love dispute ended with both men reportedly being shot, using the same firearm.
As strange as the incident sounds, it’s also a reminder that heated arguments can spiral into life-changing consequences in a matter of seconds.
Whatever the disagreement, it’s never worth letting it escalate to violence.
