Red is for ‘No Ads’!
Most people would agree that nothing is as annoying as the 30 second wait to press ‘SKIP’ before viewing the actual clip on YouTube, but those days are no longer!
On the 28th of October, Google announced that the new & improved YouTube Red will not only eliminate the 30 second adverts, but also allows the viewer to save videos & playlists on their phone.
What’s the catch?
To enjoy the perks of YouTube Red, a $9.99 (R134) subscription fee is required. Is it worth it? Unless you’re really a huge YouTube fan, I suppose 10 bucks is nothing to your 30 seconds of grabbing a snack while waiting for another cat video to load. Bleh.
