Brent Owens, Master Chef Australia winner came by our studios and took over the show with his wit and sense of humour.

Brent Owens graced our Breakfast team to a visit as he flew down all the way from Down Under Australia for the Food and Wine Show that took place this past weekend.

You know it wouldn’t be the breakfast show without lots of fun and crazy games. Upon arrival, the team gifted Brent with Zulu traditional attire to welcome him to Durban. But it didn’t stop there. Darren, Sky and Natarah thought they should test how well the chef knows his food with the most challenging food tasting…blindfolded.

We got to know Bret a little better as he shared his food secrets:
 
1.    He’s a ‘No Eggs’ man for breakfast

2.    His fiancé loves Mexican food – spicy with avocado’s and sweet corn…yes ladies he’s taken.
 
3.    His perfect menu consists of seafood- “extravagant ingredients” simply but well prepared

4.    And when asked about the W.H.O report on bacon being considered a carcinogen he said “I love
        bacon…everything in moderation”
