According to Yahoo News, the child was reportedly swimming underneath a jetty at Seisia Wharf, in Cape York, North Queensland, on Thursday last week when a grouper known to frequent the area grabbed hold of him.

The little boy is reportedly suffering from lacerations and shock. According to the online article, the mother says the fish dragged him under and let him go. He was very lucky. It was a lucky escape.

The child was taken to hospital for minor injuries. The fish can weigh up to 400kg and grow up to 2.7m in length.
