The Blood Sisters, Eileen de Jager and Roelien Schutte, are the owners of a company called Crime Scene Cleanup and for 15 years, their business has scrubbed away blood, sweat, and so much more.

These real-life sisters are pioneers in their field and have made quite the name for themselves in the industry.

They have had to clean up major, high-profile homicide cases, hoarders' homes, and everything in between.

But buying into this business and becoming a franchisee isn't just for anyone.

You'll need an iron stomach as some scenes can be extremely traumatising.

Keri Miller had the opportunity to sit down and discuss this unconventional career path with the head of Crime Scene Cleanup KZN, Yvette Knoetze.

Yvette did not hold back as she shared how she decided to get into crime scene cleaning, what it actually is like having to clean up someone else's blood, and how to do it.
