A recap of all the things we were NOT ALLOWED to buy back then.
COVID-19 really brought a completely new level to staying at home for all South Africans. Not only could we not go outside our house, but there were certain items which were dubbed 'non-essential' and could not be bought.
So remember when you could not even get a nail clipper to shorten your nails?

How impossibly unfair was that? But we had no choice really, because these items had red tape across them.
We asked KZN listeners to enjoy a laugh with us by listing all those things that we were not allowed to buy during the hard lockdown.

And just like that, we are back at Level 1 of the lockdown.
The curfew has been modified to 12pm until 4am, which is great for the hospitality industry.
Gatherings for indoors will now be capped at 750 people and outdoor gatherings at 2,000 people.
The sale of alcohol for off-site and on-site consumption is per normal licence provisions, but will not be allowed to be sold after 11pm.
So not completely full circle, but it is a much better time!
