It might be lights out for Keri Miller in a few days
Keri is in hot water with the Municipality because of an unpaid bill.
Bills, bills, and more bills!
Keri Miller is not a happy resident at the moment after she received a letter in the mail that rocked her whole December budget. The letter she received from the municipality states that she owes a large amount of money for her electricity.
It's not just a few thousand rands - she owes R11 000!

After reading the letter, she enlisted the help of Consumerwatch's Wendy Knowler who told her that she has to settle her WHOLE bill before the seventh of December or else she will be in the dark as her lights will get cut.
"I was under the impression that because of lockdown, I can make a payment plan," Keri tells Darren and Sky.

Take a look at her bill below. R2000 of the bill are extra costs that her landlord said he will pay and the rest is for Keri to settle.
