FlySafair has officially announced the return of its legendary birthday sale, and it’s bringing back those jaw-dropping R12 flights.

When is the sale?
- Date: Wednesday, 6 May 2026
- Time: From 09:00 to 23:59
That’s a full day of chaos, excitement, and thousands of people aggressively refreshing their browsers like it’s Black Friday.
What’s the deal?
Here’s where it gets wild. 50,000 seats are up for grabs at just R12 per ticket (yes, seriously).
However (before you get too excited), this only covers domestic flights across South Africa.
The R12 excludes fuel surcharges, airport taxes and other additional costs.
So don’t expect to fly to Cape Town for literal lunch money, but it’ll still be ridiculously cheap.
