"Everybody that has a baby gets a million dollars” - Kanye West

In his first presidential campaign speech, the rapper proposed that all new mothers get one million dollars.

Rapper, and now US presidential candidate, Kanye West delivered his very first campaign speech on Sunday, 19 July. In his lengthy speech, he touched on topics such as religion, international trade, licensing deals, and abortion. 

What stood out was his stance on abortion. While the 'Yeezus' rapper supports abortion, he does believe that something can be done to discourage pregnant women from aborting.

"Everybody that has a baby gets a million dollars, ” Kanye was quoted as saying.

"The only thing that can free us is by obeying the rules that were given to us for a promised land. Abortion should be legal because guess what? The law is not by God anyway, so what is legality?" he continued.

The entertainer was emotional as he narrated how his father did not want him and he was almost aborted.
