East Coast Lions Gives Back
Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
After the Kagiso Media Hunger Relief Fund campaign, East Coast Lions want to make a R100,000 donation and a further 8 organisations will benefit from the funding.
Listen to the interview here:
East Coast Lions is part of Lions International, the largest service organisation in the world. Their mission is to serve our communities and address issues such as hunger, childhood cancer, education, diabetes, vision, and the environment.
They have seen the devastating effects of COVID19 in local communities and have received several requests for help from various organisations.
They believe that with the support of East Coast Radio they can reach out to the outlying communities that have not had access to funding. They have selected 8 organisations they would like to support through this initiative.
