WATCH: From a touching piano tribute during the #KZNunrest to releasing her own song

Jenny Bowes played the amazing tune on a trashed piano during the KZN looting at one of the storage facilities.

The KZN unrest was one of the most traumatic times for so many people in KwaZulu-Natal. Most of the little things that united us was the cleanups, Darren Maule's Tip Jar among some of those other things as well. 

Music happened to also be one of the most therapeutic and relieving mediums for so many of us.

If you look back, you will remember we had the bag pipes guy, Michael Cairns who simply took out his bagpipes and went through the streets of Durban North hoping to shine a beam of light and hope to the people of KwaZulu-Natal. 

We also had the amazing songstress, Jenny Bowes who had gone to a looted and burnt down storage facility to collect the remains of his brother's belongings and stopped to play a uniting tune on a trashed down piano.

So, we have Jenny Bowes back with us and this time with a song of her own - Rainbow Nation. 

This a song that actually looks back at the year we have gone through and how we persevered and joined hand to rebuild our province.

Nothing quite beats having music, the one language we all understand no matter our background, unite us after a tough time. 

We are delighted to have been joined by Jenny Bowes back when we were seeing tougher times and now back again when things are looking better for us as province.
