More capacity when patients need it most

Critical care requires more than advanced equipment.

It requires highly skilled medical professionals working together around the clock to provide careful monitoring, rapid intervention and personalised treatment.

The expanded unit is supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary critical care team, including intensivists, doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals.

Among the critical care specialists are Dr Dave Skinner, Dr M Faurie and Dr N Parag, alongside their specialist partners and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Together, the team provides comprehensive care for patients whose conditions require a higher level of medical support and observation.

Designed for specialised critical care

The newly expanded facility combines increased bed capacity with modern infrastructure designed to support the delivery of advanced critical care.

The additional ICU and High Care beds allow Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital to respond to greater demand while providing patients with access to specialised medical teams in a dedicated critical care environment.

For families, having access to this level of care closer to home can also provide reassurance during some of life’s most challenging moments.

A team-centred approach to patient care

At the heart of the expansion is a commitment to safe, personalised and high-quality care.

From intensivists and doctors to nurses and allied healthcare professionals, the multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to assess patients, monitor their progress and provide treatment tailored to their individual needs.

In critical care, every detail matters and every patient deserves care that combines medical expertise with compassion.
