"I make R120k a week selling my toenail clippings"
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
The world is a crazy place...when there's a market for toenail clippings.
While the internet is a great source of information and education, it has also opened up a portal to some of the most unusual practices ever heard of.
A few years ago we heard about a woman who was earning money by selling her 'boob sweat'. As bizarre as it was, it was how she made an income. And now, we have encountered two women who have shared their outrageous income streams with the world.
Latiesha Jones, 24 and Freya Ashthorpe have shared their unusual income methods. Their methods may seem disgusting and absurd, but they have discovered a market for their product, and isn't that the basis of the supply/demand modelling of sales?
According to the Daily Mail, Jones is a "former biomedical student who dreamt of becoming a doctor when she was younger, but dropped out of university in her second year after realising that her priority was making money."

Her business selling weird things online has allowed her to clear her debt and purchase property. Now, she has innovated her approach to her business by mentoring others who want to join this rising industry.
Jones tells Daily Mail: "I think I see my main goal. I'm a caring person, so my goal of becoming a doctor came from wanting to help people. I feel like I'm doing that with women now in our community. I am still helping them because I'm opening them up to doing something safely they would not have known about before."
She recently joined one of her rising stars, Ashthorpe, who eagerly wants to follow in Jones's footsteps. Many people were appalled by the idea of their line of work.
