'I'm furious because my partner hasn't memorised my cellphone number'

An East Coast Radio staff member is furious after recently discovering that his partner does not know his cellphone number off by heart. But is it something to be mad about, or is he being petty?

In our life, we have so many things that we need to remember. 'Pick up the laundry', 'collect the kids from school', and 'dinner with the folks' are just a few examples. 

But can we ever be forgiven for forgetting our partner's cellphone number? Though it might seem trivial and petty for some, one of our staff members doesn't seem to agree.

He shared a voice note of how upset he was when he realised that his partner of nearly three years still hasn't memorised his cellphone number.

Here's what he had to say:

But is it a case of him being petty, or is his argument valid? 

"The thing is, I take the little things to heart, I know that. But in these dangerous times that we're living in, my cellphone number should be the one thing that my partner remembers, if nothing else," he said.
