The bizarre-looking 'half-human, half- sheep' creature that terrified Damon

Back in June, Damon spoke about a very strange creature found in the Eastern Cape which looked 'half human and half sheep'. The creature was so terrifying that locals thought it was born that way due to witchcraft.

"This had to be the freakiest looking thing I saw all year, and the WhatsApp line exploded with reactions when we spoke about it on-air," Damon said.

Some said it was a hoax, but either way, it had us all creeped out.

The 'pig-human baby' hoax that fooled Damon

"I must be honest, I have not seen something as terrifying as this before," said Damon after being fooled by pictures that surfaced on social media.

There have been a few noticeable hoaxes over the year, but one of them that broke our website was the 'pig-human baby' story he spoke about back in August.

While trolling the interwebs, Damon stumbled upon pictures of the strange 'creature' which many (himself included) believed was true.

Fortunately, reports surfaced that in fact it was a hoax and turned out to be something that an Italian artist created.

It got us for sure. The detailing on the creature was so intricate and looked so real. Make sure you watch out for fake news!

The fish with human-like teeth

We thought it was Photoshop or even a cruel joke, but it turns out that the fish with human-like teeth that Damon chatted about six months ago was, in fact, real.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources posted a riddle with a picture of the weird fish on their Facebook page, captioned: "You’ll need a saltwater fishing license to catch me! I like to hang out near rocks, jetties, reefs, and even bridges. I’m also known as the convict fish because of my black and white stripes. The coolest thing about me? I have human-like incisors and molars to help crush my food. I like shrimp and oysters just like you do!"

It had many Facebook users on the post stumped. When we posted it to our Facebook page, many of you were convinced it was a muscle cracker, but sadly it wasn't that.

The resources department revealed that it was a Sheepshead fish, which is commonly found in North and South America, and is well known for its hard mouth and teeth which resembles that of a human's, according to Scienceabc.
