Parenthood is no easy task. Having to juggle many responsibilities whilst still making time to be present for your children can be challenging, to say the least. But we do what we have to, hoping that one day we will reap the rewards.

When it comes to parenting, very often we find that the mother is given the priority, mainly because many children are brought up by their mothers only. But this stigma doesn't mean that all fathers don't play a role.

Sinethemba Mkhetho, a father with a go-getter attitude, is a clear example of a father that wants to show his daughter that you can persevere at anything with the right attitude. He recently quit his job as a security guard to pursue his own cleaning business and make a better start for his daughter.

"After occupying various security guard positions, Mkhetho enrolled in a business management course at a local college, and his interest in the field started to grow. Eventually, Mkhetho raised enough resources to found and launch Orford Excellent Cleaning Services, a small cleaning business that cleans local schools, homes and offices." He admitted that his daughter was his motivation and he wanted to make more of himself to give his daughter a better life.

"Mkhetho admits that the road was not easy and that it still isn't, but he prides himself in knowing that he was determined enough to juggle work, school, and fatherhood." (News24)

He shared some inspiring and honest words, it just proves that sometimes, it's not about being happy when you get to the destination, but rather to appreciate and be grateful during the journey.
