At the beginning of the week, we found out about a student in the United Kingdom who shared a hack that helped him actually leave university with savings. More than that, he found a way of not having to spend any money on food for a total of two years!

His hack was quite practical and he managed to leave university with a total savings of almost R60k. That's a huge amount for a student to accumulate in two years. Especially with the cost of living, paying for books and food, and, of course, your social life.

Then we met the real life superheroes of South Africa. "Justin Yarrow, founder of Durban based science education non-profit CodeMakers, to 'transform' them into superhero trading cards that are spreading like wildfire across South African schools and the internet." (Business Insider)

Carol Ofori shared how this was so inspirational to young children who get to see scientists from different fields, both men and women, from diverse backgrounds and race groups depicted in heroic and positive roles.

Then Carol shared that this particular story triggered her and if it was going to bring to light a topic that needs attention, then she would advocate for everyone to watch it.

This story was about a mother who was wearing a crop top or sports bra and she is plus-size and the flight attendant asked her to leave the plane because of her outfit. She was eventually escorted off the plane by the police and she shared her experience with a video.
