Choosing a name for your child can be a difficult task. For some, it's all about the meaning. Others look at how unique the name is.

Some parents want to keep a tradition going. They would, for example, give all their kids names starting with the letter K, like the Kardashians.

It's all down to preference though which is why two French parents decided to name their newborn after the popular spread, Nutella.

They were over the moon when their bundle of sweetness arrived in September and named the baby soon after her birth. However, they were ordered by a local court to change their child's name after a registrar informed legal authorities of their choice.

The couple had to drop the hazelnut chocolate spread and re-named the girl Ella.

The court told the parents that naming the child after the brand would not be a good idea as it could lead to her being teased in school.
