Ways that our dads like to embarrass us
Father's have to be the most unappreciated people ever and I absolutely love the fact that our fathers are the most silly beings around.
I can't begin to tell you the number of times my father has done the most embarrassing things to me, including using slang in the wrong context (he's mentioned on numerous occasions how he's going to 'turn up' and told me 'I am asleep though', instead of the slang 'I'm sleep doe') on purpose, joining Twitter and spamming my timeline with everything done in hashtags. #I #KID #YOU #NOT.
My father is an absolutely amazing someone but he does have two left feet. From a young age, I was put into dancing. I did ballet, latin, ballroom, tap and modern. When I was in Grade 10, we had our father daughter dance. Trying to teach my father to waltz was a mission and on the night of the dance, my father basically said "stuff this waltzing" and did his own thing. Needless to say, he was not alone and about a dozen other fathers joined him.
