VIDEO: Toy malfunctions and teaches kid to swear
Updated | By Rory Petzer
A three-year-old boy's first words were not exactly what his parents were hoping for. And, what's worse, he learned them from an educational toy which had apparently malfunctioned.
Amari Black's parents were understandably excited when their youngest child started learning words from his Peppa Pig Fun and Learn Tablet.
But, when his dad Garfield heard his son saying, "F*** you," he assumed Amari had picked it up at nursery school.
Garfield says, "I was cooking in the kitchen when I heard him saying 'f*** you'. I was disgusted - I thought he had learned it at nursery."
They soon found out Amari learned the expletive from a malfunctioning toy.
Instead of saying "find the odd one out", the toy says "f*** you? odd one out".
Garfield says, "He can say 'mum', 'dad', 'please', 'thank you', and sadly 'f*** you.'"
What are thoughts on kids and swearing? Do you curse in front of your children? Do they learn it at school?
What do you do when you hear your kids swearing?
