When our twins Rocco, Lula and their older brother Cooper were small we spent a lot of time holding them skin-on-skin.

Can you imagine how terrified these parents must have been cradling his lifeless little body?!
This makes me miss my kids even though I dropped them off at school a few hours ago. Even though life is at times chaotic with three smalls under four years old - but seeing those images of them eating cereal side by side, sitting patiently next to the oven, walking hand in hand makes me pensive.
Reflecting on the spontaneous strokes of the hair, pats on the back and out of the blue open mouthed kisses is again a reminder of how damn lucky I am.
