As a parent, what would you do?
What would you do if you were faced with a sign like this outside a public loo? Jane has her say.
This photo was recently posted to the Oklahoma City Moms Blog Facebook page.
It was just yesterday that I was out grocery shopping and Cooper (who is four) said he needed the loo.
We quickly abandoned the trolley and headed for the little man and dress-wearing lady signs.
Straight into the ladies loo, same cubicle and moments later all done and off we went to continue our shopping.
I can only imagine a mother’s reaction when seeing this sign.
To be honest, there is no way in hell I would let any of my kids - regardless of their sex and tender age - go into a public toilet unaccompanied.
This sign says boys over six must not use the ladies loo.....how strange, right?
Is there any woman who would take offense to a little dude going to the loo while his mom stands outside the door?
We are continually being bombarded with stories of deluded freaks who try and steal our kids in broad daylight.
In reality there need to be more family loo type environments.
In saying that, I went to a family/kids restaurant last weekend and ended up having to change my daughter Lula's nappy on the bathroom floor as the fold-out changing table was in such a bad state that the floor seemed like a cleaner option.
