No Selfie Stick at SW19

The All England Club has banned selfie sticks from the Grand Slam Tennis tournament.

Reasons behind decision Is that selfie sticks are a nuisance and they interfere with spectator enjoyment.

Now I agree with with banning of this object and im going to share with you why my 5 events where selfie stick should never be allowed in.

1.    Rugby stadiums. Listen I was at the match once and these girls who were sitting in a row below me decided to extended this stick as I was pouring my beer, hit my beer jug and spilt half of it on the stands and guess what they said?.. ‘Ah sorry’

2.    Soccer stadiums. If you have been to soccer stadium you know the atmosphere. Ok, let’s look at Kaizer Chiefs vs Orlando Pirates derby. People dance,chance,jump and do all kind of  crazy things and now you pull out your stick and we have to duck and dive while you taking the perfect picture with your mates?

3.    During Marathons or Cycling events. I actually saw this seriously I did. At the one cycling race this guy was in front leading a palatine of non-cyclists and holding up people behind him because he was guess what? YES TAKING A FLIPPEN PICTURE OF HIS TEAM ON A SELFIE STICK.. Like ok we’ll wait until you get that perfect shot.

4.    Cricket matces. This is for your own safety. Let me ask you this. Have you ever been ht by a cricket ball anywhere in your body? Its one of the sorest feelings you will ever experience and leaves that bruise on your body. Now imagine you win you selfie stick having a nice shot of your mates and Chris Gayle hits a Biggie BOOM into the stands and connects you while you talking a selfie with your stick. I promise you if you were not using your selfie stick you woukd of maybe avoided the ball.

Now below is my final illustration why selfie sticks are a big no no especially in sports.
