#MusicMonday Playlist: 15 Best songs you haven’t heard
We troll the internet so you don't have to for this mix of great music.
The first of a weekly series of Soundcloud playlists has arrived and this time we're offering up a fifteen-track compilation that features some of the best songs from radio regulars such as Thandiswa Mazwai and Zakwe.
The theme for this playlist is to feature music across genres that you may have missed over the past year or so.
We have put together a playlist that also features artists to watch such as Doja Cat and rapper Daye Jack. Not leaving out Mzansi talent we have included songs from afrosoul songstress Zuko and multi-instrumentalist Yesterday’s Pupil.
In keeping with the somber mood of recent events we have included Thandiswa Mazwai’s new song, Yeyam Name (Freedom is for everyone) as well as rapper Tumi Molekane’s Broke people.
No, Atmosphere’s Kanye West is not a diss song about the Chicago rapper and neither is it a homage. It’s a sizzling hip-hop jam to ride to in your car at an unreasonably loud volume. Enjoy and thank us later.
