Music channel MTV wants a place in the world records. And it needs your help to get there…
TV network MTV has made a request to fans across the globe to help the channel set a new world record this week.
It’s not just getting behind one attempt. MTV’s launching three different attempts in the hopes of bagging three places in the Guinness World Records.
Last night, the channel unveiled a 24-hour Beyonce dance marathon outside its New York headquarters. It wants to claim the world record for longest dance relay marathon. In order to do this, dancers will get a nonstop Beyonce soundtrack to boogie to.
MTV will also ask fans on Wednesday to submit videos of their cats in an attempt to set a mark for the most "meows" in a minute.
On Thursday, the network will challenge its audience members to break some of their own personal records and post evidence online using the hashtag #EpicWin.
MTV will also ask people to express their wishes for the world in 2025. It will print out as many as possible to be buried in a time capsule for a decade.
