Pulling off this prank takes a hell of a lot from an adult, let alone a nine-year-old kid.

All the elements have to be perfectly aligned.

You have to ‘prep’ the hairdryer. Too much powder and it becomes heavy and some might leak out and the game is up. Too little and the effect is lost.

You have to remove all residual evidence that the prank is prepared AND you need to hide yourself and the camera.

You need to be patient and let the unsuspecting victim go about their business as if nothing is out of place.

There are no “do-overs.” Once a prank has been attempted (success or failure) the mark will in future always suspect you, so you’ll never be able to catch them out again.

So, only when preparation, patience and recording devices are all aligned – Can a prank have any chance at success.
