Gorilla breaks glass after suddenly charging at family
It would seem that we have forgotten that there is a reason for the placement of the word ‘wild’ in ‘wildlife.’
Somehow, whether we have been anaesthetized to the dangers of wild animals through National Geographic documentaries or constantly viewing these creatures through safe enclosures at Zoo’s or if it’s the CGI movies about Zombies and Cyborgs, we have forgotten that the natural creatures of the wild can turn on you in a split second.
It seems we need to be reminded about how to behave around wild creatures.
I don’t know if I’m just smarter than the average person nowadays or if I am naturally more wary of an animal that takes down live prey but it seems there are a few things we need to be re-educated about when it comes to wild animals.
You know; things like – Don’t smile at a baboon. Try to stay in the car when there are lions roaming. Venomous snakes and praise are a recipe for disaster.
Again, it might just be me, but I thought it was a no brainer to NOT beat your chest in the presence of a Silverback Gorilla…
Even if there is an inch of reinforced glass between you and King Kong’s cousin…
