Selfie Fails

The world is going crazy for selfies. It’s a new craze apparently, but only because the reverse camera technology has only been introduced to smartphones in the last few years.

And it’s inevitable that if you put cameras in the hands of the general public, we can always rely on them to capture their stupidity.

There are some famous bad examples, from the girl tweeting a happy selfie from Auschwitz, to people catching their backsides in the mirror, or worse still, putting themselves in seriously dangerous situations, just to get that awesome pic. 

A young girl plummeted to her death off a bridge recently while taking a selfie, a small airplane crashed, apparently after the pilot was taking selfies with his passengers and, pictured here, a young boy got kicked in the head by a passing train driver when he stood too close to the tracks to get that crazy shot.

People are all trying to out-do each other with ever more unusual, crazy or dangerous pics. I think we can all count on the stupidity of the general public to keep us entertained.

Especially those with no self-respect.
