Did your holiday live up to your expectations?
A family member of mine rented a beautiful (and pricey) home for 10 days down the coast with friends and for the first couple of days they had no lights and water and the agent was less then accommodating.
With five kids under six and a hefty daily rate this left a rather bitter taste in their mouths.
Another friend also booked into a swanky Cape Town establishment and what was seen online was nothing like what awaited them. The stench of sewage when sitting on the veranda or opening a window meant they booked out early.
It's always with heightened expectations that we head off on long-awaited breaks that have taken sacrifice to attain.
