Day in the life of sisters addicted to heroin
Updated | By Staff Writer
I watched in shock as these three 20-somethings; once alive with possibilities, dreams and aspirations shoot up in their mom and dad's home.
Valeen, Amanda and Tiffany get high together every day, five, six, seven times a day.
This footage is so disturbing on so many levels.
I can't take my eyes off their parents Linda and Rich as they watch the sordid carnage that happens under their very own roof - day in and day out. They even supply the girls with money.
Linda refuses to kick them out as says she's only seen them shoot up once, and Rich says he's never seen it.
The girls say they have collectively taken more then 36 000 hits.
I sit here and reflect and hope that I am never tested in such a manner but truly think and believe that enabling your child like this is part of the problem.
Sure, you want them to be safe but by creating a warm drug haven as a soft landing is only adding insult to injury.
My heart bleeds for this family and I so hope they find their way 'home'.
Do you as a parent 'enable' your kids?
