The Big Favour breaks the silence

Many of the patients at Hillcrest Public Hopsital have not left the ward for up to 10 years, during which time they have enjoyed very little auditory stimulation.

Third year Occupational Therapy student, Amy Wilson wrote to the Big Favour asking for help with entertaining the patients at Hillcrest Public Hospital.

Many of the patients have lived in that particular ward for up to 10 years with little to no auditory stimulation.

"We are currently working on the visual aspects, but what we are battling to obtain is auditory stimulation," Amy says.

Amy asked if there was any way The Big Favour could arrange a sound system so that the patients could at least have some sort of auditory stimulation in their world of sterile silence.

Welcome Marius from Taboo Salvage Centre, who has very kindly sponsored TEAC bluetooth USB Micro Hi-Fi System.

Marius will have the system delivered and fully installed.

Marius, you sir, are a hero.
